The Latin American economy will rebound 6.3% this year after the impact of the pandemic, but faces the risk of a “new lost decade” if it does not implement urgent reforms in infrastructure, taxes and education, the World Bank warned this Wednesday ( BM).
“The region of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is emerging from the COVID-19 crisis, but the recovery is slower than expected, and the consequences it has left on the economy and society will take years to disappear” indicated the agency’s biannual report.
