KOMPAS.com – Comedian slapping incident Chris Rock by actor Will Smith at the 2022 Academy Awards (Oscars)) is still being talked about even though it’s been a week.
Music awards ceremony Grammy Awards 2022 which was held at the MGM Grand Graden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday (3/4/2022) also flicked the horrendous event.
When opening the Grammy Award, host Trevor Noah also discussed the hot issues.
“This is an event where we give awards,” Trevor said.

“We will avoid mentioning other people’s names,” Noah continued.
Besides Trevor Noah, musician Questlove also discussed Will Smith’s slap at the 2022 Oscars.
“I will give this award and I believe you are all 500 feet from me,” said Questlove as he was about to announce the nominations.

Just a week ago, Questlove won an Oscar for best documentary with Summer of Soul.
That category will be announced by Chris Rock. Before reading out his nominations, Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Because of that, Will Smith came to the stage and slapped his acting partner in several of these films.
Because of this event, the spotlight on the 2022 Oscars has shifted from achievements and work in cinema.
