Fans couldn’t hide their contempt.
Gia Peradze became famous for her roles in the films Ladies Invite Cavaliers, Premonition of Love and other famous films. Fans greatly appreciated his talent, but one day the audience fell in love with the actor. As it turned out, the reason lies in the terrible crime committed by the artist.
As his relatives have repeatedly noted, Peradze was a very emotional and liberated person and did not hide his emotions. Early one morning he had a fight with his young wife. During a quarrel, succumbing to emotions, he grabbed a gun and shot the chosen one, then fled the apartment in fear.
The beloved artist died in an ambulance. The celebrity was imprisoned for seven years and fans hated him due to the murder.
“All of Tbilisi loved him, but one day we realized he was a nobody”, recalled director Eldar Shengelaya.
Peradze could not cope with such a turn in life. Back home, he started drinking and eventually died of alcoholism in the winter of 1995 at the age of 47.
