When Sony premiered “Horizon Forbidden West”, almost a year ago, you could be unhappy. Beautiful footage of three minutes, though not very clear, a journey through the mechanics we remember so well from the first, and basically that’s about it. Today no complaints.

First, for a few hours we get to enjoy a postcard animation of “Horizon Forbidden West,” then point 23 Sony pours in the concrete.

Everything is recorded on the PlayStation 5, so you can forget about loading or dropping animations. From the game, we learn that Aloy must face a new faction capable of conquering machines and, of course, using them to achieve their evil goals.

The greater detail of the environment is the first thing that catches your eye. There’s a lot going on on the screen, and Guerilla Games doesn’t have any extra effects. After a while, we learned Aloy’s new skill, diving. And I have to admit that such beautiful underwater photos on a Sony console have never been seen.

In the “forbidden horizon in the West” there will be no shortage of known elements. So sneak and hide in the thick grass, look for weaknesses in the machines, hack them and use them to your advantage. Duel with giant giant robot is very impressive.

In addition to swimming, Aloy also got a new gadget that resembles a 3D kite. That’s why he learned to climb and use something like a rope with a hook.
