The project of the game Cyberpunk 2077 was to be released in April 2020, but the release was postponed twice. First, until September 17, and after – until November 19, 2020.
The developers of a role-playing computer game justify themselves by not wanting to release an unfinished product. However, the interest in the development of the Polish company CD Projekt RED warms up more and more.
At a special Night City Wire private event for journalists, developers presented new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer:
They wanted to show the whole game right at the conference, but the cancellation of the global E3 event, which did not take place due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, forced the Polish company to divide the demonstration into several episodes.
Journalist “Medusa” Alexey Kovalev visited closed presentation and spent four hours playing Cyberpunk 2077, which CD Projekt RED offered to journalists to form a first opinion. Here is what he says:
And this is just something! After hours of continuous play, it takes time for the eyes and brain to return to reality. Neon billboards are ideally reflected in puddles, and at sunset, if you watch it from the upper floors of corporate offices, you can forget about the plot, and about side tasks, pumping and looting.
According to Kovalev, the world of Cyberpunk 2077 turned out to be very lively and interactive. He assures us that “it would be desirable not just to run from one mission to another, but to walk, admiring the views and eavesdropping on the conversations of passers-by or the cries of a crazy street preacher.”
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available in the PC version, as well as on the PS4 and Xbox One. Versions of the game for the PS5 and Xbox Series X can only be released in 2021.
