Last year, viewers of The voice of Holland how Dany, stage name of Dani, became the winner of the eleventh season of the talent show. His friend Azad also came into the picture a lot. Just a few months later, Azad took his own life. Dany didn’t dare leave the house for two weeks after his death. Now he can talk about it more easily. “Life has changed, I have changed,” he now tells Instagram.

He has honored his former sweetheart with a song. “Now that the chapter is closing and I’m feeling good mentally, (…) I wrote a little song.” In the Instagram video, he listens to his own written song. “I hate you for what you did to me. And shame on you. We were there for each other, right? I miss you,” can be heard in the song. Dany is visibly moved by his own written song called ‘My heart is mine again’.
