“The virus recovered unnoticed and from an unknown source. Fortunately, I experienced a fairly peaceful course of the disease, but it is also a very unpleasant experience – constant lack of strength, temperature fluctuations and general discomfort,” writes Nitišs.

The 24-year-old from Jēkabpils participated in two stages of the World Rallycross Championship in Riga this season, the first of which reached the semifinals. In the overall standings in the “SuperCar” class, he took the 19th position.

This season he decided to start in the Latvian and Estonian rallies in the 2020 season, so that he could make his full debut in the world rally championship for juniors next year.
