Today, April 11, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law on Mobilization (a project on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding certain issues of military service, mobilization and military registration, reg. No. 10449. 283 People’s Deputies voted for it.
People’s deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported this.
According to him, there will be no demobilization in this document, as the Verkhovna Rada Committee submitted an amendment to remove this provision and such a decision was supported at the April 11 meeting.
The press service of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted that during the preparation of the draft law for the second reading, 4,195 amendments and proposals were received from the legal subjects of the legislative initiative within the time limit specified by Article 116 of the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The comparative table to the draft law contains 4,294 amendments and proposals, of which: 31 were taken into account, 4,263 were rejected.
“The final version of the project partially took into account the proposals of the Chief Scientific and Expert Department of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the recommendations of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, provided as a result of the anti-corruption examination of the project, conducted in accordance with the fifth part of Article 55 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”, as well as comments and proposals expressed by representatives of relevant state authorities, military formations, etc.,” the message reads.
On the first day of consideration (April 10), parliamentarians considered 4,263 amendments rejected by the specialized Committee, none of them were supported.
