Microscope parts and their functions

1. Ocular lens or eyepiece

The lens near the eye magnifies the image of an object.

The microscope tube functions to transmit light from the objective lens to the ocular lens.

3. Revolve

Revolve function replaces the objective lens with the desired magnification.

4. Objective lens

The objective lens is the lens that is close to the object being observed and is useful for magnifying the image of the object.

Depending on the manufacturer, the object magnification ranges from 10X, 40X, up to 100X and has an aperture value (NA).
