Colleagues from the magazine The world of engines and the web Auto.cz led by Martin Vaculík published a wonderful article in which they test premium fuels of all major brands on the Czech market in detail: MOL EVO 100 Plus, OMV MaxxMotion 100, Shell V-Power Racing 100 and especially interesting is the pair of Orlen Benzina Verva 100 and ordinary Efecta 95.

The entire European Union is expected to gradually harmonize the market towards E10 gasoline, which has double the biocomponent content compared to E5 gasoline. The adoption of this innovation is different in Europe. For example, in Austria you can no longer buy Natural 95 in a category other than E10. So far, E5 has almost a monopoly in our country. Colleagues took five-liter canisters, 300 thousand crowns and went to specialized testing facilities to find out the answers. They measured the octane number, calorific value (how much energy is contained in a liter of fuel), the surprisingly important density, they found out the performance on the dynamometer and finally the efficiency.
