Justice Kathaleen McCormick assured that the process between the parties is still in place and that he has not yet been informed of the contrary.

The statement was originally scheduled for September 28, but the tycoon canceled it by claiming the fear of contracting COVID-19, since one of Twitter’s attorneys had been exposed to the disease. The legal team representing the social network did not hide their discomfort with this situation and accused the entrepreneur of avoiding the meeting.
It is not yet known whether the meeting will take place or not; but given yesterday’s news, it wouldn’t be strange if it was canceled again.
Elon Musk and his change of mind to buy Twitter
When it became known that Elon Musk had changed his mind and was intent on resuming the purchase of Twitter, the prevailing opinion among analysts was that, most likely, he would have concluded that he had little chance of winning the trial against the social network.

Judge McCormick’s letter not only states that, for now, the trial between the parties is still ongoing. The magistrate also claims that he believes Elon Musk used Signal e did not deliver all chats in which it referred to the transaction with third parties, as ordered.
