the torch relay will cross the Seine-Maritime

Torch bearers could approach the Château de Mirville where Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympics, lived. The path of the flame should be known in June 2023.

The news was confirmed on Wednesday 16 November by the president of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tony Estanguet and by the president of the Seine-Maritime Department, Bertrand Bellanger. The Olympic flame will spend a day in the Seine-Maritime department before reaching Paris in July 2024.
