The Swiss Hockey League (NL) club “Rapperswil-Jona Lakers” has announced that Czech hockey player Roman Červenka will play in its ranks next season as well. The contract is concluded for one year.
The 36-year-old striker has been playing for the Swiss club for the past three years, and last season he showed a great performance – he had 64 (20+44) points, which was the best score in the league. He was also recognized as the most valuable player of the regular season.
At the World Championship held in Finland, he continued to prove his class – during the tournament, he scored five goals and provided 12 assists in ten matches, becoming the top scorer of the championships and helping the Czech Republic win bronze medals.
During his career, he played in various clubs in the USA, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Russia. Červenka also successfully participated in the 2010 and 2011 WC as part of the Czech national team. 11 years ago in the master competition in Slovakia, bronze, and in the 2010 championship, the highest forge awards were won.
