Today Honor officially announced that it will hold the Honor MagicOS and New Devices Launch Conference on November 22nd and 23rd.
The official poster shows a golden phoenix in flight, echoing the slogan “Phoenix reborn, flying high”. This year is also the third year of independent development of Honor, which could represent an important turning point in its history, finally managing to recover the great success of other times.
At this event, Honor is expected to launch a new generation of folding, Honor Magic V2. According to the leaker Digital Chat Station, the most important device will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is not a big change from its predecessor.
At the same time, Honor is expected to launch the Honor 80 series, where at least three smartphones will be integrated:
- Honor 80 SE – MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor
- Honor 80 – Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G +
- Honor 80 Pro – Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
There is also talk of the possibility that one of these smartphones, perhaps even the foldable one, could be equipped with the 200 megapixel Samsung HP1 photo sensor. However, this detail has not yet been confirmed.
Furthermore, Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor, revealed that MagicOS 7.0 will be released to create a unique between services, applications and devices, creating the best user experience ever.
Zhao also said he has full confidence that the new MagicOS will have everything it takes to threaten Apple’s leadership by becoming one of the leading mobile operating systems. There is no doubt that these are very “dreamy” claims, so look forward to seeing all it has to offer.
