FOOD – A TikTok trend that turns into drama. In the United States, a new trend has invaded the Chinese social network. On the occasion of the return of the Grimace mascot, McDonald’s has released a brand new drink that bears the name of Grimace Shake. It took little time for Internet users to divert this milk drink flavored with red fruits.

Grimace, the American giant’s all-purple mascot, first appeared in the 1970s and has since disappeared from circulation. Since the early 2000s, only Ronald (the clown) is still present in fast food restaurants.

To celebrate his 52nd birthday, Grimace took control of McDo’s social networks in the United States. She unveiled a menu that bears her name. In the latter, is the famous milkshake which, as shown in the video at the top of the articlepopular on social networks.

“I pretend not to see the Grimace Shake tendency. »

Victims of Grimace?

The principle of the trend is rather simple. At first, Internet users film themselves all smiles, wish the mascot a happy birthday and end up tasting the Grimace Shake. So far, so good. But all of a sudden, the camera cuts out and turns back on a few seconds later. In the background, horror film music appeared. The bodies of the people, who were drinking the milkshake, are found on the ground.

This suggests that they were the victims of a milkshake overdose or else an attack by the mascot. Some of them have traces – purple – of hands on their bodies. But don’t panic, this is all fiction.
