This is the kind of beautiful story of which the Française des Jeux (FDJ) likes to play the ambassadors. Luck knocked in the Sarthe, during the Euromillions draw on February 24th. Just over 102 million euros were at stake that evening. The Jackpot fell, the winning ballot had been validated at the Leclerc shopping center press officeArçonnay.
“I compared the numbers fifty times”
The lucky holder of this piece of paper worth more than 100 million euros only realized that she had won a week after the draw. The family is obviously on a little cloud. “Thanks to this chance, we have above all saved time, it is the greatest of luxuries (…) It will be time for us and for our loved ones” confided, to the FDJ, the neo-millionaire of about forty years.

While waiting to officially pocket their 102,242,065 euros from the FDJ, the couple had stored the ticket in an iron box: “If the house caught fire, the ticket was safe”.
The winner’s husband remembers for his part having taken a little time before realizing that his life was definitely going to change: “I compared the numbers about 50 times throughout the day and the wonderful news came true”he explains.
