Monforte de Lemos, September 27, 2022. The theater will once again be the protagonist of the cultural activity conceived by the Municipality of Monforte in the second half of 2022, once the Cultural Summer program is over.
In this way, within the Cycle of the Professional Theater Circuit of the Province of Lugo 2022 of the Culture, Artistic Historical Heritage and Linguistic Normalization of the Provincial Council of Lugo, this Thursday 29 September at 20:00 at the Casa de la Cultura Poeta Lois Pereiro the staging of the show for adults will take place Formigas not armoredof the company Itaca Theaterdirected by José Campanari and is represented by Carlos Rebolo.
It is a work aimed at an adult audience, with free admission.
Synopsis
Formigas not armored It is an innovative and quality proposal that mixes the theater of images, with oral narration and with the theater of the actor.
It is a personal show that talks about the individual and collective memory of all of us and that, through different very recognizable and familiar characters linked to our daily life, from grandmothers to ourselves, takes us through the Bazaar of the Memory of the protagonist who, from there, he tells, feels and travels through moments and emotions of his land which is, nothing more and nothing less, of his childhood … or ours.
“My memory is a mixture of moments and places that inhabit me: small pieces of history kept in the most remote corners of my soul, which, from time to time, run through my body perched on the backs of the ants that hide in the pockets” .
