The tribute to the legends of the NBA during the halftime of the game of the stars was, without a doubt, one of the great moments in recent history of the NBA. However, there were some anecdotes between players that did not go unnoticed.
One of them was the one that took place between Ray Allen and two of his former Celtics teammates, Kevin Garnett y Paul Pierce. When the escort came on stage and greeted LeBron Jameswith whom he won the famous ring of 2012, the reactions of Garnett and Pierce were revealing.
Both players seemed to ignore Allen as he walked past them, showing faces of indifference and practically hate towards the shooter. You have to remember that Allen decided to leave Boston to join precisely that champion James team.
However, the NBA published hours later an image that changed the script of all those who were already writing their conspiracy theories. The picture shows Allen with Pierce and Garnett in the anteroom of the ceremonyjust before taking the famous photo of the 75 legends.
In this image, the three players are smiling, as if their feud had ended long ago. In fact, it was Paul Pierce who decided to publish this photo also on their social networks along with several others from the same night with other Celtics legends.
