The teaser reveals the 8020 directive on horror games from The Dark Pictures Anthology

Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have announced the next chapter in the Dark Pictures Anthology franchise. Directive 8020 will be a sci-fi-themed horror game available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.

In the teaser can be seen that the next game will be called Directive 8020. Also, the teaser reveals that the horror game will have a space theme. The trailer includes radio communications from presumably game characters aboard the spaceship Cassiopeia. In the game, the characters would seek a new home for humanity, only to face an unknown threat aboard that spaceship.

Furthermore, it is stated that it is the “second season” of the series, where previously Switchback game for PS VR2 has been announced. The Devil in Me, released on Friday, is the end of the first season. The title of the future game, like other possible upcoming titles, popped up earlier this year, although it wasn’t clear at the time what kind of theme it would be. It is not yet known when the 8020 directive will appear.
