On May 14, 2024 /Tuesday/, at 12:00 p.m., the electronic registration system for first-graders for the 2024/2025 school year will be opened.
The system will be closed on May 28, 2024, and applications for admission can be registered/edited/rejected until 23:59 on that date.
The results of the first ranking will be announced on May 31, 2024. The registration of the future first-graders will take place on the days from June 3, 2024 to June 6, 2024, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the school where they are accepted.
On June 7, 2024, in the “News” section of the specialized admission site, the vacancies for the second ranking will be announced. The initial date of opening the system for those wishing to participate in the second ranking is June 7, 2024. In the period from 12:00 on June 7, 2024 to 23:59 on June 11, 2024, registration, editing or refusal of applications for admission. The ranking results will be announced on June 14, 2024. Prospective students can enroll in the respective educational institution on the following dates: June 17, 2024, June 18, 2024 and June 20, 2024.
Vacancies for the third ranking will be announced on 21 June 2024 and those interested in it will be able to submit, edit or reject applications in the electronic system between 12 noon on 21 June 2024 and 11:59 pm on June 25, 2024. The results will be published on June 28, 2024. Prospective students can enroll in the respective educational institution from July 01, 2024 to July 03, 2024.
We remind you that the permanent or current address of the prospective student is taken for ranking. Children are divided into groups according to sedentarism. Where the child’s permanent or current address has changed, but the new address remains within the school’s contiguous area at the time of application, the address is deemed to have not changed. In order for this circumstance to be taken into account in the ranking, it is necessary for the parent/guardian to inform the “Education” department in the municipality of Stara Zagora at the email address: [email protected]within 7 (seven) working days, before the start of the electronic admission system.

The Ordinance was adopted at a Municipal Council meeting held on March 30, 2020 with decision No. 256, amended. and add. with Decision No. 977 of April 29, 2021, amended. and add. with Decision No. 2284 of February 23, 2023. It regulates the organization and order of admission of students – day form of education in first grade in municipal schools.
