Canadian singer Leslie Feist opens the International Summer Festival at Kampnagel in Hamburg on Wednesday evening with a concert happening. Under the motto “Togetherness”, artists want to try out new forms of coming together until August 22nd and provide answers to the Corona crisis. Despite reduced capacity and restrictions in international travel, five world premieres are on the program, as the organizers announced. Some artists play on locations in the city, including the empty former Kaufhof building. As always, the festival’s meeting point is the Festival Avant Garden.
