However, Dario Conca’s career with Shanghai SIPG has not been as flashy as it was with Guangzhou Evergrande. He was loaned to Flamengo for one year starting January 3, 2017.

In 2019, Dario Conca was also recorded to have tried out the United States competition to defend Austin Bold FC. But he only played three times for the club before splitting up. A few days later, April 23, 2019, Dario Conca announced that he was officially hanging up his boots at the age of 36.
