Quarterly figures received positively by companies and a fireworks display of the Hellofresh share have the Dax driven further towards a record high. After its strong start to the month the day before, the German benchmark index rose 0.9 percent and closed at 15,954 points. Its high for the day was 15,960 points, just 70 points below the all-time high. Of the EuroStoxx50 listed 0.3 percent higher at 4,294 positions.

The clinic and medical group Fresenius and its subsidiary, the dialysis provider, presented quarterly figures from the Dax today Fresenius Medical Care (FMC). The FMC share, which had recently fallen to a low since March, recovered by plus one percent. From now on, FMC wants to position itself leaner. The parent company Fresenius in turn, raised its growth targets for the year. The share gained 2.2 percent.
The cook box company was able to convince the market Hellofresh with its quarterly figures and an increase in the sales forecast. Since the end of August in the downtrend, the papers landed at the top of the Dax with a plus of 17.3 percent, a temporary breakout.
Steel values like Salzgitter, Klöckner & Co and also Thyssenkrupp – spurred on the day before by the settlement of the customs dispute between the USA and the European Union – were burdened by further falling iron ore prices and lost between 3.5 and 6 percent.
K + S fell by 3.3 percent despite cheap templates. North American competitors Mosaic and Nutrien have reported strong demand for fertilizers. Due to high purchase prices, Mosaic was unable to fully meet the analysts’ expectations for profit, but Nutrien has raised its annual forecast.
It was volatile Shop pharmacy to, in the end the stock gained 4.6 percent. The online pharmacy expects sales growth at the lower end of the 10 to 15 percent range for 2021 and was operating in the red in the quarter under review. The Baader analysts speak of a disappointment, but still believe in excellent medium to long-term growth potential.
