Serbia Parliament Speaker Maija Gojkovič and Defense Minister Alexander Vulin were confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Vulin has no symptoms Covid-19 and he is feeling well.
Meanwhile, Gojkovich was hospitalized, according to europeanwesternbalkans.com, who said several officials from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had found the infection.
It recalls that both the Minister of Defense and the Speaker took part in the celebrations of the victory of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party following the parliamentary elections last Sunday, where, according to photos on social media, no distancing has been observed.
Both officials can be seen in the companies close to the Prime Minister Anna Brnabic and the Secretary of President Alexander Vuchich Nikol Selakovich.
President Vucich has since attended both the Victory Debate in Moscow and met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Brussels, where he met with European Commission (EC) President Urzula von der Leien and Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Warhei.
The agency AP points out that the Serbian delegation to the Victory Day parade in Moscow also included Vulin, known for his distinctly pro-Caucasian stance, while Russian agencies say that the Serbian defense minister’s participation in the delegation was planned.
In Serbia, more than 13,500 people have been confirmed with the new coronavirus so far, and the Covid-19 virus has claimed 265 lives.
Since the lifting of the strict restrictions in May, the number of infections has risen again, and Vučič has promised to renew the restrictions if this trend continues.
