VIVA – David De Gea was the last penalty taker in the final Europa League Among Manchester United against Villarreal. Unfortunately for the goalkeeper, he failed to hit the skin round the opponent’s goal.
De Gea’s kick was pushed over by the opposing goalkeeper, Geronimo Rulli. MU also lost 10-11 and had to give up the title into the hands of a team nicknamed ‘Ship Over Yellow’.
Failure to score in the penalty shootout was not the only ‘sin’ De Gea in the match. Apparently, there are other fatal actions taken by the Spanish goalkeeper.
