“We are all practically unemployed due to the lack of travel by citizens,” said Granados, very concerned about the situation, which is especially delicate in a province like Soria, where the taxi is revealed as a fundamental service for rural communication. .

Currently, the few services that taxi drivers perform are aimed at providing users with some errands.

“There are some clients who have asked us to make it easier for them to buy food or medicine, but they are minimal,” said the president.

For this reason, the Federation of Sorian Business Organizations (FOES) and the Association have appealed to the sensitivity of the municipalities to assess, also at the local level, support measures that can help keep the sector alive.
