Ministry: Brandenburgers should stay at home

The Brandenburg Interior Ministry called for people to stay at home if possible. Extreme slipperiness can be expected on the roads. “In order to avoid accidents, it is therefore advisable to avoid unnecessary journeys and corridors and to stay at home if possible,” said ministry spokesman Martin Burmeister on Friday.

Brandenburg’s fire brigades and control centers are fully operational and prepared for any extreme weather, the spokesman said. If necessary, disaster control measures could be directed at any time via the coordination center in the Ministry of the Interior.

Berlin police intensified controls – Bahn warns of train cancellations
