An attractive bike lane has been built near the town of Genk in eastern Belgium, which seems to divide Lake Bockrake in two because it passes below the water level so that cyclists find themselves face to face with ducks and swans.
In fact, it is on a dike separating two lakes. 200 meters long and built in 2016 in the province of Limburg on the border with the Netherlands, it is part of a project to restore the eco-balance of the lakes in the area and was included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most spectacular places in the world for 2018
