Behind The Sims: PROJECT RENE! INFANTS?! & MORE!

Project director Rene, Grant Rodiek, surfaced to clarify details of the upcoming game and multiplayer. “One thing to keep in mind is that Project Rene is not an MMO,” says Rodiek. “It’s not this shared public space where everything you do is always with other people.” Completed the director.

Rodiek tries to explain to the players that the new The Sims 5 is trying to achieve both a traditional singleplayer Sims experience and online crafting as well.

“We know our players want to have that personal, intimate experience where they’re exploring stories and ideas in singleplayer, but there’s also really cool stuff you can do with others where you share and create with your friends.”

Says Rodiek.

Rodek did a great job of explaining that the transition from single player to multiplayer will always go your way, whether you feel like playing solo or inviting your friends over for some co-op fun. As for whether that co-op control will extend to the online mode, Maxis didn’t say specifically.

Otherwise, Rodek talked about cross-save features between mobile and PC versions of upcoming games Simssuggesting that you can memorize or play on one device and then switch to another.

O Renee Project it’s still in early testing with small groups of players testing apartment customization and build/buy tools, says Maxis.
