On Monday, August 24, in the section of Daugavpils highway (A6) from Līvāni to Stūrišķi in Līvāni region, the road surface will be restored. From Monday, the driving speed limit will be set at 70 km / h, the state JSC “Latvijas Valsts ceļi” (LVC) informed.
Within the framework of the construction works, it is planned to repair the sediments, repair the profile, arrange the water drainage system and lay a new asphalt surface.
Construction works are performed by SIA “Binders” for a contract price of 2.078 million euros (including VAT), which is covered from the state budget additional funding of € 75 million. The works are planned to be completed by the end of this year.
