The American striker Alex Rauter no longer appears in the cadre of the newcomer of the highest Slovak hockey competition HK Spišská Nová Ves.

His new place of work became the Danish club Sonderjysk Elitesport, which announced the new acquisition on the official website.

Rauter is the second legionary to leave Spišiakov during February. Defender Matt Petgrave, who was the team’s most productive player, headed to the Czech extra-league club HC Dynamo Pardubice.

Rauter came to Spišská Nová Ves in December 2021 and managed to play 10 matches in the Slovak extra league, in which he scored 1 assistance, 12 penalty minutes and 3 minus points.

The club also recently announced the extension of cooperation for the next season with Canadian defender Jéremy Beaudry and goalkeeper Marcel Melicherčík, who signed with Spišiak for the next two seasons.
