These are some of the data that emerge from the information published this Thursday by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function, the perceptions of elected officials of local corporations (8,124 town halls and 52 island councils, councils and councils) and those of their officials. However, the information is not complete because there are 1,236 municipalities that have not provided the data, among which are some as relevant in size as Barcelona, Granada, Getafe, San Sebastián, Oviedo and Ourense. The information of these municipalities is in any case public. Councilors’ salaries follow a path similar to that of mayors, those of Madrid and Bilbao charge more, although within each municipal group there are salary differences due to the different dedication also of each mayor. In Madrid, for example, they range between 99,867 and 16,234 euros, depending on the dedication of the councilor.
Deputies, councils and councils
Regarding the presidents of the island councils, councils and councils, the one that charges the most is the president of the Diputación de Bizkaia (101,964 euros), followed by that of Barcelona (100,230), Álava (92,414), Burgos (82,884.04), Alicante (80,999.94) and Tenerife (80,800) , 24).
