It is done. Beaten by Olympiakos (0-1) then by Manchester City (0-3) in the first two days of the Champions League, Olympique de Marseille scuttled a third time this Tuesday evening in Porto (0-3 ). A third consecutive defeat therefore in this 2020/2021 edition.
But the series goes further. The Marseille club, which found the competition seven years after its last participation, has just chained a … twelfth consecutive defeat, equaling the sad record of the Belgians of Anderlecht. A new defeat against Porto at the end of November, during the second leg, would condemn OM, which alone kept this record.
