The Russian Government’s Resolution on Limiting “Foreign Workers” and Its Impact on Ukrainians in Occupied Territories

“The Russian government has adopted a resolution on the permissible proportion of “foreign workers” in companies, which foresees a significant limitation of the availability of jobs starting from 2024.

In a parallel reality created by the invaders, the temporarily occupied territories are part of the Russian Federation, and Ukrainians who refused to obtain passports of an enemy country are “foreign workers”.

Therefore, the resolution is primarily aimed at the temporarily occupied territories, as it foresees the dismissal of Ukrainians,” the report said.

As mentioned, in this way the aggressor country plans to increase the pace of “passport issuance” or make Ukrainians dependent on payments to the occupation administration.

“However, after the deoccupation of the temporarily occupied territories, peace and economic prosperity will return to the region. Everyone can speed up the liberation of their homeland,” emphasizes the National Resistance Center.

As previously reported by “Ukrinform”, residents of the temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region are also denied medical assistance, unless they present a Russian passport when registering at the hospital.
