Military expert Roman Svitan explained that it is now beneficial for the Russian Federation to appear not as an aggressor, but as a “victim.”

Roman Svitan said the following about the Russian Federation’s new methods of conducting hybrid warfare: “It is now very profitable for them to show themselves as a “victim”. It is important for them, among other things, to show this as a definite plus for the Russian Empire.”

A reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained what new trick the Russian Federation has now resorted to in order to achieve its goals: “Now their rhetoric has changed and the information flow is set up to counteract the NATO countries, that is, now they are just making a “victim” out of themselves, a “victim” who is being killed by NATO countries and the like, thereby trying to raise Russian discontent at least on this issue position. It was clear how they exposed Belgorod to this kind of attack.”.
