Nvidia’s upper-middle-range Ada Lovelace card may have leaked its secrets when potential RTX 4060 Ti specs leaked online.
Both AMD and Nvidia launched their latest graphics architectures using the best-performing units in the new series. Nvidia should complete the RTX 40 series with RTX 4070Ti during the month of January and now the specs for another upcoming graphics card can be revealed.
Famous Twitter profile @kopite7kimi now he claims to have uncovered the specs of an upcoming Geforce RTX 4060 Ti from Nvidia. The profile that frequently circulates in upcoming product leaks claims that the graphics card will be equipped with an AD106-350-A1 graphics processor. This is said to come with 4,352 CUDA cores and 32MB of L2 cache. This will then be joined by eight gigabytes of video memory in the form of regular 18 Gbps GDDR6 memory.
RTX 4060 Ti has a very short reference board. The PG190 still uses the CEM5 connector.

The profile also states that Nvidia will equip the graphics card with the new 12VHPWR connector. This is despite the fact that the TDP value is said to be only 220 W, which is not all that different from the graphics card predecessor. The new connector can deliver up to 600W, which would make it a bit excessive for a graphics card like the RTX 4060 Ti. One explanation here could be that Nvidia simply wants to standardize the new connector and intends to use it in as many graphics cards as possible.
Another interesting aspect mentioned is that Nvidia’s reference design is said to have a very short circuit. It’s unclear how short it will actually be, and we’ve already seen Nvidia offer interesting designs on their circuit boards. However, this could be an indicator that at least the mid-range is not equipped with oversized cooling solutions.
As usual, we advise taking unconfirmed information and rumors with a grain of salt. At the moment we don’t know exactly what Nvidia’s plans are for the mid-range, nor is it certain when some of the upcoming graphics cards will be unveiled.
