The RTS game Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is delayed at the last minute

Should have been released today, but now it’s February.

I Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance shall we take up the fight against the machines in RTS battles, and the release date was until recently December 7 – that is, today. Last week announced however, the publisher and developer Slitherine that they unfortunately have to delay the game.

The new date is February 21, 2024, and the team believes that “a few more weeks” of development can help them refine, polish, and squash bugs to improve the game’s quality. Among the things they intend to tackle, we find performance, better global coverage in the server infrastructure and ultra-wide aspect ratios.

Delays in the gaming world tend to be received fairly positively, but when it happens this close to release, people are understandably disappointed, which is also the case here. However, one of the developers explains that when it comes to licensed games, decisions like this have to be approved at several different levels before it can be announced.
