The Riga Gospel Choir was founded in 2003 and has performed concerts in many places in Europe and the United States, as well as participated in various domestic and foreign projects together with popular performers – they sang “Prata vetra” in the “Tin Drums Tour”, recorded the soundtrack for the “Disney” movie “The King Lauva” dubbing in Latvian, performed together with the winner of the “Grammy” award Donald Lawrence from the USA, the conductor of the “Kingdom Choir” that gained popularity at the British royal wedding, Karen Gibson, the Ukrainian pop star Ivan Dorn and others.
The jubilee concert is planned in two parts, the first looking back at the choir’s history and over time the audience’s favorite songs, and the second focusing on brand new pieces specially prepared for this concert. Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear several domestic and foreign soloists.
