Still, there was a way to get the Rifter with an internal combustion engine, but you had to buy a car with N1 homologation – a utility car on paper. But that was also dropped from the offer… and even for several months. The reason was insufficient production capacity.
But now the Rifter is back. With internal combustion engines, again with N1 homologation and even now also in the extended Long version.
The practice seems to be that you will buy an official utility vehicle, but the Czech representative office will convert it into a classic five-seater passenger car as part of a local conversion before delivery.
The conversion is already included in the price and includes the removal of the fixed steel partition behind the second row of seats (the partition itself is not part of the vehicle’s delivery), 6x reinforced anchors on the floor in the luggage compartment and minor aesthetic modifications to the interior.
After the “utility” Rifter is left with reinforced tires and a specific chassis, a combination that enables a higher useful weight.
The price list includes the PureTech 110 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine (81 kW) and the BlueHDi 100 (75 kW) and BlueHDi 130 (96 kW) diesel engines. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also available for the more powerful diesel.
There are three trims – Active Pack, Allure and GT. Peugeot has also prepared promotional prices for the Rifter, the cheapest version of the Active Pack with three cylinders starts at 487,900 CZK (standard price 595,000 CZK), the top GT with a turbodiesel and automatic transmission at 697,000 CZK (standard price 850,000 CZK). The extended Long starts at CZK 522,900 (standard CZK 630,000), at the opposite end of the price list is a car priced from CZK 717,500 (standard CZK 875,000).
The basic equipment of the Active Pack includes, for example, six airbags, on-board computer, cruise control and speed limiter, front halogen headlights with daytime running lights, automatic lighting of lights in low visibility, semi-automatic air conditioning, electrically operated front windows, electrically operated and heated exterior mirrors, fabric seat upholstery , Height Adjustable Driver’s Seat, 2/3:1/3 Split Second Row Bench, Passenger Side Air-Conditioned Top Dash Storage, RCE Radio with MP3, 4 Speakers, 5″ Monochrome Touch Screen, DAB, Hands -free, Bluetooth and USB, 16″ steel wheels or 12V socket on the dashboard.

If you still prefer electric motorization, then you might be interested to know that there have also been changes in the price list of the e-Rifter model. It now “on sale” starts at 894,450 CZK, the standard list price is 1,005,000 CZK.
