The Return of ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’: New Season Confirmed for 2024 on Prime Video

‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’ marked history on Colombian television but it also did so worldwide, not only because it is one of the most loved productions by Colombian viewers, but also because all the international versions that have been made have been a resounding success.

Until now, a Colombian production had never gone as far as this novel, which will now have a third part.

Last week, the protagonists of the novel confirmed the return of ‘I am Betty, the ugly one’ to small screens, but this time, it will be available on the Prime Video streaming platform.

Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello, protagonists of the original novel, will once again be part of this production. Although all the fans of the novel would like all the original actors to participate in this new season of ‘I am Betty, the ugly one’, only a few have confirmed that they will be in the production, but others, like the actor Julio César Herrera, who he played ‘Freddy Stewart’, he said on his social networks that he has not yet been summoned.

Through his Facebook account, the actor said that until now, he has not received any official notification to be part of the cast of “I am Betty, the ugly one”, which has aroused his outrage and that of his fans, who claim the presence of the messenger ‘Freddy Stewart’ in the third season.
