The residents of Santa Úrsula return to their houses | Radio Club Tenerife

Most of the residents evicted last afternoon in Santa Úrsula, the municipality of Tenerife most affected by the wind and harsh storm that is hitting the Canary Islands, have been able to return to their homes throughout the night and this morning. This group of almost 400 people was transferred to the Municipal Sports Pavilion of La Victoria.

This has been confirmed in the SER by the mayor Juan Acosta, who has also pointed out that a dozen residents remain in a hotel in Puerto de La Cruz due to the impossibility of returning to their homes.

In this way, the Red Cross is already beginning to uninstall all technical and material means in La Victoria, where it enabled some 150 beds, belongings, food and blankets so that the neighbors could spend the night.
