Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Trade statistics found that there were 5 stocks on the local exchange which caused significant losses for investors.
The five titles are PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (TNCA), PT Agro Yasa Lestari Tbk (AYLS), PT Krida Network Nusantara Tbk (KJEN), PT Damai Sejahtera Abadi Tbk (UFOE) and PT Indo Komoditi Korpora Tbk (INCF).
The five stocks mentioned above fell more than 79% over the course of 2022. Here are the details.
PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (TNCA)
TNCA is one of the issuers of courier and logistics services included in the Transportation & Logistics index. However, the fate of TNCA shares is inversely related to the performance of its sector index.
TNCA shares at the beginning of the year were priced at Rp 2,380 / unit. However, in yesterday’s trading (28/10), TNCA shares closed at Rp 394 / unit.
In just 10 months, TNCA’s market capitalization value fell 83.4%. The performance of TNCA equities is very different from its sector index which has appreciated 13.2% so far this year.
The price movements of TNCA shares are quite volatile in 2022. TNCA shares have steadily weakened since the beginning of semester II-2022 and had entered the radar of stock exchange monitoring.
Rising fuel prices are also one of the negative sentiments making TNCA’s share price more depressed.
PT Agro Yasa Lestari Tbk (AYLS)
AYLS share price weakened from Rp 348 / unit at the beginning of the year to Rp 70 / unit yesterday (28/10). The value of AYLS’s market cap has shrunk by 79.9% this year.
The substantial drop in AYLS’s share price follows President Joko Widodo’s outrage over the asphalt import and called on Indonesia to stop importing asphalt from overseas over the next two years.
Just so you know, AYLS is one of the broadcasters that also imports asphalt.
PT Krida Nusantara Tbk Network (KJEN)
KJEN is one of the broadcasters that also operates in the courier and logistics sector. It was noted that KJEN’s share price weakened from Rp 1,025 / unit at the beginning of the year to Rp 210 / unit yesterday (28/10).
The price of KJEN’s stock fell 79.5% over the course of 2022. As a broadcaster engaged in the courier and logistics industry, KJEN’s stock was impacted by negative issues due to rising fuel prices.
PT Damai Sejahtera Abadi Tbk (UFOE)
UFOE is a stock issuer that causes investors to suffer significant losses in 2022.
At the beginning of the year, UFOE shares were still priced at Rp. 1,660 / unit. However, the stock fell 79.2% yesterday to Rp 346 / unit (28/10).
Of note, UFOE is a stock of broadcasters engaged in the electronics and furniture industry.
PT Indo Komoditi Korpora Tbk (INCF)
INCF shares are also included in the ranks of shares that cause investors to lose their holders. At the beginning of the year, INCF shares were still quoted at Rp 258 / unit.
However, the consecutive weakening of the INCF share price caused it to plummet towards the level of share capital, also known as Rp 50 / unit. Throughout 2022, INCF shares fell 79.1%.
