The rain does not stop the International Film Festival in Guadalajara

The first to parade through the Red carpet of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, this Friday afternoon, it was the rain.

A few hours after the opening of the meeting dedicated to the seventh art, the weather that until the afternoon was sunny changed completely and a heavy downpour broke out that caused the special guests and press who arrived at the Telmex Auditorium to do so amidst puddles, wind and a carpet that became detached at times because of the weather.

However, this did not overshadow the afternoon.

By 6:00 p.m., the time when the red carpet was scheduled, the rain subsided and a couple of guests began to arrive, from those who had chosen sandals and a dress, to those who preferred not to risk it and arrived in a raincoat. Fortunately for those who paraded on the carpet where the press gathered, it was done in a covered area next to the entrance of the auditorium.

The actor Chumel Torres, the general director of the FICG Star Araiza and the actor Ricardo Fastlicht, were some of the guests at the opening of the 36th edition of the Festival where the film will also be screened “Dune“.

The match is held with restrictions by the Covid-19For example, at the opening gala only the press and guests were allowed access and those who walked the red carpet could only be photographed but not stop to give interviews.
