Rock singer Ivo Fomin has had a lot of news lately: a new 60-song book of lyrics, a new top 20 selection, and a new, ambitious series of anniversary concerts, which will also include the said editions.
Publishers of the book “Izdevniecība MicRec”: “So far we have published song sheet music books – a total of 22 editions with songs performed and created by the most popular composers and groups have already been published. From time to time we saw that in some cases people were more interested in the lyrics, because they have the melodies in their minds, but rarely remember the correct words. Therefore, in the case of Ivo, we decided that we will publish a book of lyrics so that during the tour the listeners can fully sing along to Ivo’s hits. We can whisper that there are actually 67 songs in the book [nevis 60, kā tas pieteikts tās nosaukumā].”
In the meantime, Ivo Fomins is seriously preparing for the concert tour, which started this week with two concerts in Cēsis. “I’m glad about the songbook, because there are so many songs that I think it will be useful for me now and then to remember the right words. Also happy about the selection album, which was difficult to include everything. See you at the concerts!” so Ivo.
