“We have noticed an increase in COVID-19 cases over the past week. The characteristic is that they are mild cases, they are vaccinated people and it doesn’t go beyond mild colds, sore throats. So we’re motivating people to get the vaccine, the boosters. To all those people who have the last dose and have passed the four months, the next dose that corresponds to them must be applied ”, began the official.

And he continued: “With the dose that is administered, in four-five days, there is a generation of antibodies sufficient to prevent serious diseases. This allows us to avoid serious illnesses and have patients in intensive care; it is to increase the immunity of each of the peoples”.

For this, the head of the health portfolio recalled that this Saturday, December 3, there will be nodes distributed in different parts of the province, from 9 to 14. They will punctually be at: Emergency Room 107, CAPS San Martín, Yerba Buena, Alderetes, Villa Mariano Moreno , Tafí del Valle, Lules, Monteros, Simoca, Aguilares and La Cocha.

Continuing with the recommendations, the minister expressed: “Just as we ask to receive the booster dose as it prevents serious illnesses, the chin strap prevents contagion. Its use is strongly recommended in people over the age of 60, in those who have some underlying disease, in people who have decided not to get vaccinated and, above all, in closed and unventilated places, such as in public transport (bus, taxi) or in a meeting where the possibility of contagion is generated. We are talking about places where there are many people who will go to share spaces that are not adequately ventilated”.

Likewise, Medina Ruiz extended his greetings and from the entire cabinet to the professionals who will celebrate their day on December 3: “I want to take this opportunity to thank our doctors for the work they do.
