“Since Kurzeme has been my summer vacation destination for several years, of course, even before we went on this adventure, I already had a feeling about it. Such a warm feeling. Even after touring Kurzeme, when filming the show, it has not changed, rather it has become brighter. If we have to answer the question, what is the identity of this cultural-historical region, then I would say that it is very multifaceted – at times harsh, stubborn, weighed elsewhere, calm and proud, sometimes wild, pink. Such an unaccustomed, maybe that’s why you can catch a feeling of freedom that is not felt elsewhere. I feel that anything is possible, ”Kate shares.
“It is not that the people of Kurzeme are stubborn. They are endowed with self-esteem, with such certainty. It is definitely one of the brightest features I have seen. As paradoxical as it may sound, very sincere people, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first. From the beginning they look, watch. Kurzeme residents are not hypocritical. They are quite direct, so strict. This is also my biggest association with Kurzeme. I think everyone should discover Kurzeme themselves, ”says Andrzejs about Kurzeme.
