When The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time-remaken was announced it received scathing criticism. It was admittedly just a trailer, but according to many, the game looked worse graphically than its predecessor. Ubisoft then chose to postpone the game and since then it has been largely silent about the Persian prince’s return. It has even been rumored that the game has been discontinued.
