The price of the ‘Sultan’ house in Jakarta is getting worse, how come?

Luxurious houses in Jakarta have dropped in price or have experienced a fairly deep decline, currently the houses of the ‘sultans’ are cheaper when compared to the pre-pandemic period. So what exactly causes this to happen?

Chairman of DPD AREBI DKI Jakarta Clement Francis said that currently consumers still have many choices of houses, therefore the price of luxury homes is still low this year. Moreover, according to him, currently many houses that have been sold since 2021 have not been sold until now.

“There are still units that want to be sold, there are still many. What’s on the market in 2021 is still in 2022, so the price won’t be much different, corrected since last year,” said Clement to detikcom, Friday (14/1/ 2022) ago.

He said the more choices of luxury homes that were sold, the more consumers would get a choice of low prices.

“Only this is the mindset of the buyer, there are indeed many choices so he can get the best price. Indonesians again don’t offer, they are not satisfied either. Moreover, the mindset is also a pandemic, want cheap prices,” said Clement.

In retrospect, the phenomenon of cheap luxury home prices has occurred since last year. In a detikcom post, Clement previously said in the midst of the pandemic there are many more important needs that luxury homeowners must meet.
