The second preparatory match between the national teams of handball players from Slovakia and Serbia did not take place on Saturday. The reason was the deteriorating health of three Slovak players.
The duel was to take place in Bratislava behind closed doors. On Friday, the Slovaks lost in Šala to Serbia 21:32. “Respecting the measures of the Public Health Office and due to the deteriorating health of three players in the Slovak player cadre, a decision had to be made to cancel the planned retaliatory match.
Despite the fact that the Slovak team is completely vaccinated, this step led to SZH’s responsibility towards the health of the actors of the international meeting, as not all members of the team were vaccinated on the opponent’s side.
