The Prague Stock Exchange fell sharply at the beginning of the week due to tensions around Ukraine

Global stock markets have exacerbated losses from the past and have fallen sharply again today as tensions between NATO and Russia have escalated over Ukraine. The Prague Stock Exchange also registered strong sales and, measured by the PX index, weakened by -1.88% to 1,391. Erste Bank lost for the fourth time in a row, falling by -4.50% to CZK 987 today. Komerční banka then handed over -3.30% to CZK 923. Moneta Money Bank fell -0.92% below CZK 92 and insurance company Vig weakened by -1.28% to CZK 617. Česká zbrojovka also failed (CZK 512.40.40%) and Kofola lost -1.58% to CZK 311. Avast opposed the general decline in the market, adding 1.61% to CZK 176.
